Perfection loop

A loop that stays perfectly aligned with the line — no lure or leader drift.

Tying it

   Step 1: Make a first loop, holding the crossing between your fingers.

   Step 2: Make a second loop in front of the first, then bring the tag end between them.

3. 3

   Step 3: Pass the second loop through the first.

4. 4

   Step 4: Wet, pull on the loop and the standing line, and trim.

Always wet a knot before tightening it: dry friction burns the line and costs a good part of its strength.
