The classic for monofilament on a swivel or hook. Quick to tie, even with cold hands.

The most reliable knot for braid on a hook or lure. Few turns, almost no strength lost.

Rapala loop knot
Leaves a free loop at the eye: the lure keeps all its action. The knot for hard baits.

Ties straight onto the shank, not the eye: the pull stays in line with the hook and drives the point home.

A clinch that runs double through the eye: twice the bearing surface, less chafing.

Albright knot
Joins two lines of very different diameters: braid to a heavy leader, or wire.
