How does species identification work?+
You photograph your fish, and Piscary compares it with its base of species signatures to suggest the three closest, each with a match score. It’s a suggestion, never a decision: you confirm or correct. The analysis runs on our servers in Europe and the photo isn’t kept, unless you choose to help improve recognition — then your confirmed catches enrich the base.
What exactly is a session?+
A trip, timed from the moment you start it. Piscary records your route, attaches every catch you log along the way, and closes with a summary: duration, distance, track, catches, and the weather at the start and at the end. Sessions live in your own journal.
What does Pro add?+
